About the Country team
CLARISSA is being implemented in Bangladesh by Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) and Grambangla Unnayan Committee (GUC) with ChildHope and the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM). CLARISSA Bangladesh will pilot a highly innovative social protection intervention – in the form of cash transfers and complimentary ‘cash plus’ activities to reduce children’s involvement in hazardous work and the worst forms of child labour. We will focus on Dhaka slum neighbourhoods and communities linked to leather supply-chains.
Leading the team in Bangladesh is Jiniya Afroze.
