IDS is a global research and learning organisation for equitable and sustainable change. It works with partners to generate evidence to shape the transformations needed to reduce inequalities, accelerate sustainability and build inclusive and secure societies. It will be leading CLARISSA in its mission to co-develop knowledge and generate solutions to eradicate the worst forms of child labour. It will also play a central role in facilitating the communications strategy to ensure that partners, practitioners, policymakers and other stakeholders have access to the evidence they need to affect change.

Terre des hommes Foundation
Tdh is a leading child relief agency, improving the lives of millions of the world's most vulnerable children across nearly 50 countries in development and humanitarian contexts. It works in partnership with children, families, communities and brokers, harnessing their expertise and experiences to understand what drives the worst forms of child labour (WFCL). As a core partner Tdh’s role is as the host organisation in Bangladesh to support the country team to implement participatory processes and manage CLARISSA’s innovative social protection pilot.

ChildHope
ChildHope works with extremely marginalised children, many of whom live and work on the streets and in hazardous circumstances, to develop effective approaches to addressing injustice and abuse. As a core CLARISSA partner, ChildHope’s role is in supporting Voice of Children (Nepal) as the host organisation, where a team will deliver participatory processes and innovations focused on children in the worst forms of child labour. In Bangladesh, ChildHope will support Grambangla Unnayan Committee. ChildHope will also lead the safeguarding across CLARISSA and bring in its expertise of promoting children’s participation.

Consortium for Street Children
CSC is a global network united to make the voices and views of street children heard on the issues that matter to them. With limited options, many street-connected children engage in hazardous and exploitative labour to survive. As a core partner, CSC will work with partners in Bangladesh and Nepal to deliver participatory processes and innovations focused on increasing the children’s options, allowing them to avoid hazardous and exploitative labour. CSC also provide an advocacy role, particularly in supporting participants in-country with advocacy messages, international advocacy and sharing learning activities.

BRAC Institute of Governance and Development
BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) is a postgraduate resource and policy research centre. Dedicated to making positive impacts in the lives of people at large, BIGD advocates for improved governance across all areas of its work. BIGD will take on the role of lead research partner to IDS in Bangladesh, providing design expertise, overseeing data-collection and contributing to the analysis.

Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights
CWISH is a non-profit based in Kathmandu that aims to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights, particularly those of children across Nepal. CWISH is a long-standing member of Consortium for Street Children. Within CLARISSA CWISH will, as part of the Nepal country team, deliver participatory processes and innovations. They will also lead on advocacy for the programme in Nepal.

Grambangla Unnayan Committee
GUC is a non-profit organisation working with the most socially excluded, marginalised, stigmatised and disadvantaged communities in Bangladesh. GUC works with such communities to highlight and advocate for their human rights, which are so often overlooked or ignored. In partnership with ChildHope, GUC, as part of the CLARISSA Bangladesh country team, will deliver participatory processes and innovations. They will have a focus on revealing and reducing harm to children working within the leather sector and its supply chain in Bangladesh, supporting positive family dynamics and promoting and building child-led coalitions.

Voice of Children
VOC is an NGO working and advocating for street and sexually abused children of Nepal. It aims to prevent further increase in the number of street children by working to empower and spread awareness among vulnerable families living in urban, low-rent and slum areas. In partnership with ChildHope, VOC is the CLARISSA host organisation in Nepal, where a team will be exploring the hidden social norms that allow the worst forms of child labour to persist and delivering participatory processes and innovations to generate options for children to avoid hazardous and exploitative labour.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization of Bangladesh working with disadvantaged and underprivileged people. DAM’s mission is to provide high quality services towards unity, peace and development of social and spiritual life for the community for the disadvantaged.
In partnership with Consortium for Street Children, DAM, as part of the CLARISSA Bangladesh country team, is working for developing and delivering effective messages to decision-makers; to develop context-appropriate and child-friendly advocacy training materials and packages to train children, employers, caregivers, and local and national government officials.
