The pathways through which children end up in the worst forms of child labour are multifaceted, uncertain and not well understood. CLARISSA places a particular focus on participants’ ability to understand their situation and to develop actions through multiple forms of evidence. This means that working children have been engaged in causal analysis across all stages of the implementation and evaluation process. Then, by forming Action Research Groups, children were able to start to formulate actions.
As part of attending the American Evaluation Association conference ‘Evaluation 2023’, CLARISSA is launching a video that shows the practical realities of including children in causal analysis, and the benefits that this can have.
